This patient initially was treated for melasma elsewhere with a chemical peel. This procedure burned her ethnic skin and worsened her melasma. She presented to our Dallas Clinic for treatment for both melasma and PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation). She was treated with one of our melasma and PIH protocols with significant improvement.
