Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes redness (flushing), and sometimes produces small bumps that may resemble acne. Many people with rosacea may not even know they have this condition or that it is treatable. There are triggers that can cause the symptoms to appear or worsen:

  • exercise
  • emotional stress
  • spicy foods
  • alcohol
  • medications
  • temperature fluctuations (hot or cold)
  • sun exposure

There are ways to help control and treat rosacea. Avoid or reduce your triggers, wear sunscreen, and get IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments on a regular basis.
