How It Works

Laser energy is selectively absorbed by the melanin in hair follicles, heating and disabling them without damaging surrounding skin. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are needed to target follicles in their active growth phase. The Nd:YAG laser is used for darker skin tones, while the Alexandrite laser is preferred for lighter complexions.

Am I a Candidate?

Laser hair removal is effective for most patients. Those with light skin and dark hair typically see the fastest results.
